I still have to pass training, but I will probably work at the Toledo Zoo this summer doing caricatures!!! =D Yahoo!
Also, I will be moving into an apartment FINALLY in May, so I can actually invite people over 8)

Yeah, sorry...more whining about election stuff. I'm really, really relieved that Obama is the next president, but prop 8/prop 102/amendment 2?
I know people have their own issues with gay marriage and whether they are comfortable with it or not, but I think it's very wrong to deny it to people who are in love. When someone says marriage is between a man and a woman, or it's against their religion....SO WHAT? We all believe different things. We come from different backgrounds. Those differences should not be a basis to create laws to prevent others from choosing their own lives.
Only a small number of years before my parents were married, interracial marriage was legalized...and that terrifies me. Gay marriage is the same battle. People who are our equals who have to fight to get the same rights.

It's been forever since I've been on livejournal. I miss updates on how people are doin'. The reason I stopped for such a long time is because I watch Avatar communities, and I knew they would be riddled with spoilers for months COUGH COUGH BLEERRG!

As usual, hanging out with the con peeps has been a blast! Anime punch was special in the head, hur hur!
What's interesting is that during this con, I feel like I got to know a lot of "distant faces" much better and also met many new ones! Hooray, FRIENDS 4EVAR TEEHEE!

Aside from a couple scary run-ins during the convention (Mister delicious [which is quickly being substituted by Todd & friends for making it 10 times creepier] and psycho elevator man), I had a BLAST!
This convention put me in a great mood--bizarre, eh? :P It was wonderful seeing so many people there, even if I was constantly running around--I just wish there was more time to spend individually with everyone! You've all been great to me and I'm thankful to know you splendiferous folks.
As a last foreboding note...if you eat pocky, SAVE THE BOXES FOR GOD'S SAKE! Project X will require no less than a buttload of them (seriously: the motherload), so please remember to forfeit all of the snack-holding cardboard to me at some time or another. <3
